I was misled by that also. I bought DO shares anyway for growth and was pleasantly surprised to receive dividends EVERY QUARTER at about 10%. Now that price has fallen, the % is higher. Yes, it's true. You can check out Diamond's website also to confirm it's high dividends + bonus, or special additional dividends. These are NOT for preferred stock but for ALL shareholders!
