I purchased a home that meets all of the requirements; however I wasn't able to move into the home, because the reason I purchased it was to be near my father. My father passed away, 3 days after settlement, so I didn't move into the home, and the home I was moving from, still hadn't sold, so I moved back to the home that I was going to leave. If I am not currently living in the home now, but had intended to live in it, will I be able to qualify for this program. I am not currently "owner occupied", but that is only because situation changed with the death of my father.
