There is no such thing as negative growth. That is political bafflegab designed to sugarcoat bad news. Call it what it is: A decline. If GDP was up, would you call it a negative shrinkage?

Word addition needed to last comment is “as” after “such” and before “devaluation” in the second paragraph.

Richard, your comment is dated October 28, but here in the Canadian east the date is still October 27. No matter. I’m just not sure where you may be located.

The savvy financial writers to which you refer are necessarily upbeat. They write about money as the status quo. That is what they have been “cultured” to do. Talk about any significant alteration of money itself, such “devaluation” to “zero” or replacement of it by some “other” exchange device, then financial “advisors” are lost because there is no “medium” anymore, nothing to get their heads around. Therefore, nothing left to say.

This is especially true when traditional money marketplace “exchanges” around the world “tank” or dry up, as is occurring right now. Savvy financial writers cannot advise their clients where to trade anymore, if stock and commodities exchanges are shut down.

You refer to a replacement currency called the Amero. This will not be.

What will occur very shortly, instead any "new” currencies, per se, is a three-way valuation “split” in the world. Each of the three parts will not trust the other. All trade and exchange will come to a halt. So they will withdraw, each one to itself, as a desperate “last ditch” effort at self-preservation.

Many financial writers already know this, but very few of them will ever write about it.

Fasten your seat belt!

What will happen to the U.S. dollar when the North American Union is established early next year and the Amero takes its place as the reserve currency of the world? I understand $800 billion Ameros has been sent as a quid pro quo to China Development Bank. They are to continue buying our debt untill we can get this done next year and they have the first start of the new Amero. Kinda like a jump start. While everone is so concern about the financial crisis and the bailout, I believe it was orchestrated to drive the dollar up and then the conversion to Ameros. Like Franklin D. Roosevelt once said "nothing happens without first being planned". If this happens, which I truly believe it will, it will no doubt cause the destitution of almost all Americans, more noteable the uninformed, i.e. the hard working 'Joe, the plumber'.

Question: Are you and your savvy writers taking this into your consideration and analysis when you publish your reports?

A response would be nice. Thanking you in advance and God Bless. Richard A. Weymer
