Why not force the government to liquidate some of it's own assets from the CAFR funds to pay for the mess they allowed to happen? Havent' heard many people know about these, but between the Fed, state, and local governments they aleready own trillions in assets.

The Big Kahuna?
I've heard this all before. Many times, in fact. An accountant in Rifle, Colorado (1982) told me we will eventually have a financial collapse in America because of our government's excessive spending and debt.
While having coffee at Sherry's Restaurant (on Cornell Road) in 1985, one customer told me “We should have had an economic collapse-in 1980".
During the first "Bush Recession", a book was published by renowned economics professor Dr. Ravi Batra called, not coincidentally “The Great Depression of 1990"
Now, more recently, Peter D. Schiff's "Crash Proof: How to Profit from the Coming Economic Collapse."
Do you think this is the "Big One"?
